The appeal from the judgment of the Court of Appeal of Alberta (Edmonton), Number 0203‑0125‑A3, 2006 ABCA 191, dated June 20, 2006, heard on February 22, 2007, is allowed, the convictions are set aside and a new trial is ordered. Bastarache, Deschamps and Abella JJ. dissenting.
L’appel interjeté contre l’arrêt de la Cour d’appel de l’Alberta (Edmonton), numéro 0203‑0125‑A3, 2006 ABCA 191, en date du 20 juin 2006, entendu le 22 février 2007, est accueilli, les déclarations de culpabilité sont annulées et la tenue d’un nouveau procès est ordonnée. Les juges Bastarache, Deschamps et Abella sont dissidents.

The appeal from the judgment of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Numbers C39067 and C39164, dated July 28, 2005, heard on October 12, 2006, is dismissed and the convictions are affirmed.
L’appel interjeté contre l’arrêt de la Cour d’appel de l’Ontario, numéros C39067 et C39164, en date du 28 juillet 2005, entendu le 12 octobre 2006, est rejeté et les déclarations de culpabilité sont confirmées.
