OTTAWA, September 8, 2004 -- The swearing-in ceremony of the Honourable Justice Rosalie Abella and the Honourable Justice Louise Charron will take place at 9:30 a.m., on Monday, October 4, 2004, in the Main Courtroom of the Supreme Court of Canada. It is expected that there will be remarks by Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin, and representatives of the Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario, Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada. As well, Justices Abella and Charron will be speaking on this occasion.

OTTAWA, le 8 septembre 2004 -- La cérémonie de prestation de serment de l’honorable juge Rosalie Abella et l’honorable juge Louise Charron aura lieu à 9h30, le lundi 4 octobre 2004, dans la salle d’audience principale de la Cour suprême du Canada. Des allocutions devraient être prononcées par la juge en chef Beverley McLachlin ainsi que par des représentants du gouvernement du Canada, du gouvernement de l’Ontario, de l’Association du Barreau Canadien et du Barreau du Haut-Canada. L’honorable juge Abella et l’honorable juge Charron prendront également la parole à cette occasion.
