                   APPEAL from a judgment of the Federal Court of Appeal, [1986] 3 F.C. 70, 29 D.L.R. (4th) 501, 69 N.R. 212, affirming a decision of an Umpire acting pursuant to s. 26 of the Labour Adjustment Benefits Act, S.C. 1980‑81‑82‑83, c. 89.  Appeal dismissed.

Gilbert Nadon and Georges Campeau, for the appellant.

Gaspard Côté, Q.C., and Carole Bureau, for the respondent.

The judgment of the Court was delivered orally by

Lamer J. ‑‑ We all agree that the appeal should be dismissed.

We share the opinion of Pratte J. of the Federal Court of Appeal that neither the Board of referees nor the Umpire had jurisdiction to grant the relief sought.  Given the particular circumstances of this case, this appeal is dismissed without costs.
